Two people suffered minor injuries in a house fire in Flanders early Sunday morning.
According to Southampton Town Police, the fire began in the basement of a home on Priscilla Avenue.
All occupants of the home were able to escape the fire, which was reported shortly after 9 a.m., police said, but two residents were injured by broken glass while exiting the home, police said.
The Flanders Fire Department extinguished the flames. Town Police detectives and the town Fire Marshal’s office are investigating the cause of the fire, which police said does not appear criminal in nature.
