I was so excited to read the excellent article featuring the “Tiny Creatures” Netflix series and its producer, Christina Douglas [“Shinnecock Filmmaker Wins Emmy For Doc,” Community, August 26]. It has been my pleasure, as a retired Southampton Union Free School District teacher, to watch Ms. Douglas grow and thrive while attending Southampton public schools. Her continued eduction at Dartmouth has produced a very talented filmmaker.
Ms. Douglas’s “Tiny Creatures” series was adorable, educational and fun to watch with my 6-year-old grandson, Carter. Carter and I give the series two thumbs up!
Ms. Douglas is a wonderful example of the many talented Southampton public schools graduates we have nurtured. I can’t wait to see Ms. Douglas’s next production.
