Two Youth Bureau Programs Coming UP

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau has two programs coming up.

First, an open mic night will take place on Friday, March 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hampton Coffee Company in Southampton. Performing is free and open to those in grades five through 12. Acoustic performers and bands, karaoke, spoken word, poetry and comedic acts are all welcome to participate. Email the Youth Bureau at pstrecker@southamptontownny.gov to reserve a time slot.

On Friday, March 15, the Bureau will host its annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament from 7 to 10 p.m. at Southampton Youth Services (SYS), 1370A Majors Path in Southampton. Sign-in and warm up drills will be held from 6 to 6:45 p.m. The tournament is open to those in grades five through 12 and prizes will be awarded to the winning teams in middle and high school brackets. Space is limited and team preregistration of $30 is required by Monday, March 11. Each team member must submit a completed registration form along with payment ($10/player) to the Southampton Youth Bureau located at 655 Flanders Road, Flanders, NY 11901 or by registering and paying $10/player online at southamptontownny.gov/YBpayment. There are no refunds for this event.

CMEE To Host Family New Year's Eve Event

The Children’s Museum of the East End in Bridgehampton will ring in 2026 with a daytime New Year’s Eve celebration designed especially for young families. The museum will host its annual New Year’s Eve Bash on Wednesday, December 31, from 10 a.m. to noon.
