Valenty Joseph Kurosz Of Sandown, New Hampshire, Dies November 25

Valenty Joseph Kurosz of Sandown, New Hampshire, died on Friday, November 25, 2016.

Born February 10, 1960, in Riverhead, to Valenty and Karin (Johnson) Kurosz of Westhampton, he was a 1978 graduate of Westhampton Beach High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany. For more than 30 years he worked as a tour and cruise operator for various companies and was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit many wonderful and beautiful places around the world.

Mr. Kurosz was treasurer and chief fundraiser at the East Hampstead Union Church for more than 15 years. He was an amateur genealogist and searched for relatives in Sweden and all around the world. He was known for his love of animals.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Ed Kurosz of Westhampton Beach; many cousins; and dear friends and kindred spirits, Paul Sweet, Mary Weston, Magdalena Herr, Charlotte Kaufmann and Brandon Poisson, who brought joy to his life every day, survivors said.

Following cremation, a memorial service was held at East Hampstead Union Church in East Hampstead, New Hampshire, on Sunday, December 11. A calling hour was held in the church immediately prior to the memorial service. Interment will be in summer, 2017, at Westhampton Cemetery.
