Vallory (Farrell) Flynn, formerly of Hampton Bays, died peacefully from aggressive Alzheimer’s disease on January 27. She was 81.

She spent her youth in Hampton Bays, where she graduated Class of 1961 from Hampton Bays High School. Shortly after marriage and the birth of her children, the family relocated to Danville, Virginia, where she worked primarily in the textile industry as a mainframe programmer, and later traveled the country for Deloitte Consulting, and ultimately retired to Normandy Farms Estates in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edward Flynn and Vallory Flynn Bader; her step-sister, Margaret Blowes; and her husband, Charles Farrell; all of whom lived in Hampton Bays at some point. She is survived by her children Charles Farrell (Colorado) and Cathy Nenninger (Colorado); her siblings, Sharon Flynn (New Mexico) and Joseph Flynn (Florida); three grandchildren, Chase Nenninger (South Carolina), Marlin Nenninger (South Carolina) and Reicelion Vindex (North Carolina) FKA Summer Nenninger; and a host of extended family, mostly including nieces and nephews scattered around the country and cousins originating in the Worcester, Massachusetts area.

She asked to have her ashes spread on the bay on Long Island and those arrangements will be made in the spring with a gathering of friends and family.

Condolences may be sent to her children at 33247 Fishers Peak Parkway, Trinidad, CO 81082 and will be relayed to family accordingly.
