Villified and Canceled

Will the gaslighting end after this midterm election? Joe Biden’s speeches are associating ardent MAGA supporters with fascism and blaming them for current societal woes. Considering this administration’s actions since taking office, and the previous Democrat administration, when Biden was the vice president, one must wonder what can be more autocratic than leaders who weaponized the IRS, FBI, CIA and even the Department of Justice against their political foes — the very essence of fascism.

Democrats have taken to labeling all detractors and skeptics of their narrative as deniers, whatever the topic, be it climate, vaccine, election, education, even biology and gender. Once labeled a denier, all skepticism is rewarded with vilification and cancellation.

Tens of thousands of doctors have put their careers on the line by rejecting the vaccines and promoting safe and effective therapeutics. All their previous research and awards of distinction are extinguished from their records by the likes of Wikipedia and social media platforms as forms of disinformation, under pressure from our freedom-loving government agencies, such as the FBI, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the National Institutes of Health.

In a recent interview in Time, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the CDC, who has taken on the task of fixing the agency’s “dramatic mistakes,” has claimed they had to convince the American people to follow their policy mandates, “but we didn’t have to convince the scientific audience.”

Nothing could be further from the truth. Doctors were forced into compliance by threat of losing their licenses for noncompliance to the narrative. Cheap and effective drugs became off limits, not because doctors doubted their efficacy; coercion by the CDC and the NIH is not willful compliance. Prescribing treatments that you disagree with under duress is hardly tacit agreement. There are many who argue that the vaccine is experimental.

About half of our nation believes our last election was illegitimate, and with just cause. Many election irregularities have been exposed that have never been allowed into court. Is this by design, another aspect of the cancel culture, because it was so inflammatory that to allow its consideration would disrupt the entire election process? Without a doubt, voting accommodations were made that never existed in elections prior to COVID.

Liberals are objecting to parents making their voices heard at school board meetings. Parents can now be arrested as domestic terrorists for having the audacity to disagree with curricula that are being taught: critical race theory, the 1619 Project, and the sanctioning of transgender education in some schools while promoting the current gender dysphoria and body mutilations that are overtaking our youth that never existed a decade ago.
