Vincent Sardella Dies At 79

Vincent Sardella

Vincent Sardella of Southampton died in California on Saturday, May 4. He was 79.

Born in the Bronx on December 15, 1931, he held a Ph.D. in statistics from George Washington University.

He fulfilled a lifelong passion for mathematical research, working in engineering, management, and computer science in government and private industry. Mr. Sardella and his wife Judy enjoyed an active social life with their extended local family, church groups, neighbors, and visits from their children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Alan Sardella and Adrienne Saldivar of California, and Mark Sardella of New Mexico; grandchildren, Cassandra and Evan Saldivar, and Austin Sardella; and great-granddaughter, Sophia Christine Sardella. He was predeceased by his devoted wife Judith Marion Sardella (née Dinhaupt).

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 25, at 12:30 p.m., at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery in Southampton.
