Waclaw Kurosz Of Speonk Dies April 27

Waclaw Kurosz of Speonk died on April 27 at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. He was 81.

Mr. Kurosz was born in Poland on March 6, 1939 to Kazimierz and Adolfina Kurosz.

He was a greenskeeper at the Westhampton Country Club in Westhampton Beach for many years.

According to his family, he enjoyed landscaping, the outdoors and his grandchildren.

Mr. Kurosz is survived by his wife, Janina (nee Radziewicz); his children, Elizabeth Kurosz of Speonk, Andrzej (Heather) Korosz of Warwick, New York, and Stanlet Kurosz of Speonk; and three grandchildren.

He was interred in a private ceremony at St. Isidore Cemetery in Riverhead.

Arrangements were entrusted to the McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead.

Our Sag Harbor park tennis courts are under siege. There are eight clay courts and two hard courts.
