Family Fun Day Set at Hampton Bays Church

The Hampton Bays Assembly of God will host a Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, June 8. Teeny Awards To Be Presented on June 8

East End Arts & Humanities Council Inc. will present its 23rd annual Teeny Awards on Sunday, June 8, at 3 p.m. at Greenport High School. A red carpet event starts at 1 p.m. The 2025 Teeny Awards ceremony, hosted by WLIW’s Gianna Volpe and produced by Kasia Klimiuk, will feature performances by over 100 high school theater students, while presenters consisting of leaders in theater, as well as the local community, present a variety of awards for the 2024/25 high school theater season. Battle of the Bands Coming June 6

Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays will be the setting for the 22nd annual Battle of the Bands on Friday, June 6. Five local high school bands will compete for prizes in the event, which begins at 8 p.m. Gates open at 7 p.m. with guest performers. Throughout the night, audience members will have the chance to win prizes by answering music trivia questions. LTV’s World Voices and Eastville Community Historical Society will present the second annual Juneteenth Jubilee White Party Awards and Ceremony at LTV Studio’s on Thursday, June 19, at 6 p.m. Attendees are asked to wear white to the event, which will feature music, dance, local vendors, food, awards and more. Air Force Major General Michael Bank, the commander of the New York Air National Guard, has announced the recent promotion of members of the New York Air National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.
