Warren H. Patten of Southampton died at his home on Friday, October 31.

He is survived by two daughters, Eileen Patten of Manorville and Alice Soto; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Alice in 2001.

Funeral services were held at Sinnicksons Moriches Funeral Home in Center Moriches on November 3. Interment was private.

Few people embody the spirit of community service better than Hampton Bays resident Robert Ross, who recently retired after decades of making his home a better place for its residents.
