Thank you for your investigation of the shocking levels of water use by the ultra-wealthy [“Estates Drain Millions of Gallons of Water Each Year,” Residence, August 28].
I can do the right thing by not watering my dinky patch of lawn, or watering it only on the odd-even schedule, but the water-guzzling gazillionaires hiding behind their LLCs clearly don’t want to curb their wasteful ways. It’s infuriating!
The wild swings of climate change are making good stewardship of our common water resources all the more imperative. I wish we could get through to the people who can’t even be bothered to care.
