Wayne A. Swiatocha Of Southampton Dies October 4

Wayne A. Swiatocha of Southampton died on October 4. He was 74.

He was born in Greenport on October 29, 1945 to Julius and Constance Swiatocha.

Mr. Swiatocha earned a Bachelors Degree from C.W. Post and had a long career in banking. He was a member of the Business Alliance, Southampton Chamber of Commerce, Elks Club and Our Lady of Poland Church.

In his free time, Mr. Swiatocha enjoyed gardening, football and was an avid golfer. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather, his family said.

He is survived by his wife Susan; son Wayne Jr. (Jessica); and his grandchildren Jillian and Reese. He was predeceased by his brothers Stephen and Julius.

Services were held at the O’Connell Rothwell Funeral Home, Our Lady of Poland Church and a graveside service was held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Poland Church, Southampton, New York.
