The East Hampton baseball team swept Harborfields in a three-game series to start the season. After winning the first game, 12-5, on March 30, the Bonackers defeated the Tornadoes, 4-1, on Friday, then completed the sweep on Sunday in a 3-2 victory. Michael Locascio had the walk-off hit in the bottom of the ninth in the finale. Jack Dickinson pitched 7 and 2/3 innings and struck out 12. Avery Siska had four hits in the first game of the series, including three doubles, and Colin Ruddy pitched a complete game and struck out 12 in game two.
The East Hampton/Pierson/Bridgehampton boys tennis team is 4-0 after its latest victory, a 5-2 decision at Connetquot on Monday.
The East Hampton/Pierson/Bridgehampton/Ross girls lacrosse team lost its first four games of the season, its latest coming this past Friday when it lost, 17-1, at home to Islip.

The South Fork boys lacrosse team lost its first two games of the season to Westhampton Beach and Longwood but responded with a pair of victories. Its first victory of the season came on March 31 in an 8-5 decision at Walt Whitman. Then, on Monday, in their first home game of the season, the Islanders defeated Riverhead, 10-6. In that victory, Charlie Corwin scored five goals, Jack Cooper won 15 of 18 face-offs and Stephen Sutton made 18 saves in goal.
The Southampton girls lacrosse team lost its latest game, 17-1, at home to Kings Park on Monday. Isabelle Palumbo scored the lone goal for Southampton.
The Mariners (1-2 overall) lost, 9-1, at Shoreham-Wading River on March 31, then lost, 15-1, at Elwood-John Glenn on Monday. Alex Boyd drew three walks and scored Southampton’s only run in the loss to Shoreham. Daniel McDonnell drove in Riley Herrmann for the Mariners only run against Glenn.
After losing their season opener, 4-3, at Babylon, the Mariners suffered back-to-back 6-1 losses at Southold/Greenport on March 31 then at Elwood-John Glenn on Saturday.
The Baymen (0-3 Division II) are still searching for their first victory of the season after suffering losses at Deer Park on March 31 and at Elwood/John Glenn on Monday.

Morgan McEntee scored four goals and had an one assist in that game. Dan Naglieri added two goals and two assists, Gavin Arcuri had two goals and one assist and Conor Farnan made 11 saves in goal.
