Sweeps Hurricanes  The East Hampton baseball team scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning on Friday to defeat Westhampton Beach, 4-3, and complete the three-game sweep. The Bonackers had won game one of the series, 7-1, on April 10 then took the second game, 10-0, on April 12. Jack Dickinson struck out 13 in the series finale but it was Hunter Eberhart who earned the win in relief. Now two years removed from not fielding a varsity team due to low enrollment, the Pierson/Bridgehampton softball team plans to take another step forward after going 2-6 in League VII last season. For the most part, the Whalers have most of their team intact from last season, save for Mickey Wilson, Abby Sherwood and Joselin Perez, who have all since graduated.
