A 1-0 victory at East Islip on October 10, in which Melina Sarlo scored off an assist from Kerri O’Donnell off a corner in the fourth quarter, ended a four-game losing streak for the Bonackers, who then turned around two days later and defeated what had been a surging Shoreham-Wading River, 3-2, at home. Ava Tintle scored the winning goal in a shootout, while O’Donnell and Siena Link-Morse each scored a goal in the third quarter to tie the game at 2-2. Caeleigh Schuster made 19 saves.
