Westhampton Beach High School held its annual homecoming parade Friday afternoon as students marched down Mill Road and through the village with their book-themed floats. The school marching band led the way followed by the senior class and its Harry Potter float, the juniors and their Dr. Seuss float, the sophomores in their Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" float and finally the freshman and their float based on the Lord of the Rings trilogy. WESTHAMPTON BEACH — Dario Vasquez, 26, of Hampton Bays was arrested by Westhampton Beach Village Police on December 9 and charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a misdemeanor. At 1:09 a.m., Police said they observed a blue Chevrolet Silverado traveling west on Mill Road in an unsafe manner by failing to maintain its designated lane.
