The Westhampton Free Library Board has scheduled a special meeting for Monday, November 16, starting at 7 p.m. at the Library Avenue facility in Westhampton Beach, to discuss ongoing litigation.
Library Director Danielle Waskiewicz alerted The Press about the meeting shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday, November 9. She said the special meeting was scheduled because the library’s attorney, Richard Zuckerman, will not be able to make the board’s next regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, November 18, at 7 p.m., also at the library. That meeting will go on as scheduled, she added.
Ms. Waskiewicz said the board is expected to meet on Monday night and then immediately enter executive session. The purpose of the meeting, she added, is to get the board’s newest members—President Tom Moore, Susan Rosenberg and Barbara Matros—up to speed with ongoing litigation.
