This odd spring has brought a flowering of walkers, runners and cyclists in many neighborhoods. Perhaps an organic expression of paced resolve and regeneration.
Yet alongside are … the speeding vehicles of all sorts on our winding roads, steered by people of all sorts, who are enjoying more than the usual impunity, as if they — the “non-essentials,” at least — had somewhere they needed to be.
