The Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2024 Memorial Day weekend kickoff to summer in the Hamptons, as well as its upcoming art shows and annual farmers market.
The annual Maggie Burbank Arts and Crafts Show on the Great Lawn, at the corner of Potunk Lane and Main Street in Westhampton Beach, will be held rain or shine on Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The free event features more than 50 artists and artisans showcasing their works of art including oils, acrylics, watercolors, mixed media, wood and metal sculpture, wearable art, jewelry and photography. All featured artists are chosen through a competitive selection process.
“We are excited to be hosting the annual Maggie Burbank Arts and Crafts Show and to be sharing the Great Lawn with Paragon Art Festivals to showcase the talents of exceptional artists from all around the country,” said Chamber President Liz Lambrecht.
In addition, the chamber’s summer farmers market has opened for the season. The market, located at the Village Green (Main Street and Mill Road), Westhampton Beach, will be open rain or shine each Saturday through November 23 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
