William J. Hyndman dies at 78

William J. Hyndman of Center Moriches died on March 23. He was 78.

Mr. Hyndman’s wife, Grace Hyndman, recalled his 
ever-present smile, kind demeanor, and his love of the New York Yankees.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Hyndman is survived by two daughters, Teresa Hyndman of Vermont and Grace McCarthy of Eastport; a stepson, Darren Victor of Center Moriches; two brothers, Donald Hyndman of West 
Babylon and James Hyndman of Ozone Park; three sisters, Joanne Dunn of Florida, Catherine England of East Rockaway and Irene Zaccoheo of Rockaway; and two grandchildren, Mia McCarthy and Sasha McCarthy.

A brother, George Hyndman, predeceased him.

Funeral services, under the direction of Sinnicksons Moriches Funeral Home, were private. Interment will be held at a later date at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches.
