William Miller
William Miller of Riverhead died on Tuesday, January 4. He was 70.
Born in Charleston, South Carolina, on June 28, 1940, Mr. Miller worked as a custodian at Southampton Hospital before he retired. He was a great man and will be greatly missed, family said.
Mr. Miller was predeceased by his wife, Rosetta Johnson-Miller; sisters, Elizabeth Brown-Miller, Carolyn Miller, Dorothy Miller-Ellis and Viola Miller-Watson; and brothers Jim Miller and Fredrick Miller. He is survived by a son, James Johnson of Lyons, Georgia; a brother, Theodore Miller Sr.; grandchildren, Rosetta Johnson, Latwana Miller and Terrance Johnson; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews, Kalonti, N’yani and Vera Miller, Lizette Miller, Theodore Jr., Melinda Miller, Anthony Miller, William Brown, and a host of other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 9, at Calvary Baptist Church in East Hampton; interment followed at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Springs. Arrangements were under the direction of the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton.
