With Deadline Looming, Sagaponack Beach Rebuilding Seeks Temporary Exemption From Plover Restrictions

Contractors rebuilding the beaches in Sagapoanck and Bridgehampton have asked the Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service for an extension to allow them to work beyond the March 31 deadline after weather delays in February put the project far behind schedule.
