Shame on you, Miss “I’m with the town,” for your indifference to the needs of the elderly and disabled at Nancy Atlas’s phenomenal show at Good Ground Park in Hampton Bays on Thursday evening, August 1.
To allow a food truck to block the 6-foot curb cut needed by wheelchair users to access the concert before, during and after the show is entirely unacceptable — as is your response that the number of handicap parking spaces is the minimum the state requires. Additionally, wheelchairs cannot get over speed bumps. So take a look at all the obstacles you’re creating in the parking lot.
I will continue to move your cones to navigate your maze successfully — and, yes, I will continue to complain to town workers and police on site at events until improvements are made. As I told you, I’m counting on you — you can do much better.
