Youth Center To Offer Winter Break Programs

The Southampton Youth Bureau is offering a series of winter break programs at the Flanders Youth Center located at 655 Flanders Road.

On Wednesday, February 22, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., those in kindergarten through fourth grade are invited to participate in a hands-on science program with help from experts from the Long Island Science Center. Admission is $20. The next afternoon, also from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. there will be a live action game night and video tournament for those in fifth through eighth grade. This program is free and includes pizza. The last in the series is on Friday, February 24, again from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. for those in fifth through eighth grade. This program will have chef Steve Amaral from the North Fork Chocolate Company teaching participants about making chocolate sweets. Admission is $10.

ARF Launches Student Holiday Card Contest

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) is calling on the creativity of local young artists with the launch of its 2025 Holiday Card Contest. Open to all students in grades 6 through 12, the contest invites participants to design ARF’s official holiday card, spreading cheer while celebrating the animals waiting for adoption at the ARF Adoption Center.

Beautification Association To Discuss Proposed Hotel

The Hampton Bays Beautification Association will meet on Monday, November 3, at 7 p.m. at the Hampton Bays Library. The meeting is open to all.
Representatives from the Indigo Hotel will discuss plans for a new hotel at the Boardy Barn property.

An Evening of Poetry and Jazz Will Benefit Bridgehampton Center

An evening of poetry, jazz, and art on Saturday, November 8, will benefit the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center.
