Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, George Herbert Walker Bush, Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter are sitting in a room, airing old grievances and venting pent-up frustrations about holding the highest political office in the country.
It is a scenario that, at one time, existed only in the mind of Emmy Award-winning writer Rick Cleveland, whose credits include “The West Wing,” “House of Cards” and “Six Feet Under.”
At the Bay Street Theater, his imaginings have come to life.
Through Sunday, July 19, Mr. Cleveland’s newest drama, “Five Presidents”—which was originally produced at the Arizona Theatre Company and the Milwaukee Repertory Theater—will stage at Sag Harbor under the direction of Mark Clements. The cast includes John Bolger, Mark Jacoby, Martin L’Herault, Reese Madigan, Steve Sheridan and Britt Whittle.
Tickets start at $53.75. For a complete list of show times and more information, call (631) 725-9500, or visit baystreet.org.
