Marie Wynn Kuhl died on October 19, 2014, in Sag Harbor. She was 93.
Born in Rochester in 1920, she was a graduate of Alfred University and later taught ceramics at Southampton College. She was an avid tennis and bridge player, but her interests were so vast it is impossible to list them all, family said. She was an award-winning artist recognized for her sculpture, ceramics and, later in her life, watercolor portraits. She was a generous contributor to many organizations and charities and a dedicated volunteer for several groups. She spent winters in Key Biscayne, Florida, where she loved to walk the beach, attend tennis clinics, and volunteered for many years at the tennis matches.
She is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Dupee and Margaret Kiepe; two grandchildren, Wanda Sekelsky and Adam Dupee; and two great-grandchildren, Rourke and Blake Sekelsky.
The family is planning a memorial celebration this spring in New York.
