Pauline “Penny” Bolmarcich of Westhampton died August 9 at her home. She was 84.
She was born in the Bronx on June 30, 1936.
According to her family, for Ms. Bolmarcich, there was nothing more valuable or meaningful than special moments spent in the company of her family, often expressing, “I wouldn’t miss this for the world.”
Ms. Bolmarcich deeply cherished her roles as wife, mother, and grandmother, and had a tremendous presence in the lives of all who loved and adored her, her family noted, adding that she was “a vibrant, quick-witted, and generous person with an enormous heart who will be greatly missed.”
Ms. Bolmarcich could often be seen on her daily walks with her dog, nights at the theater with family and friends, and collecting sea glass on the beach.
Ms. Bolmarcich is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerald; her daughter Michelle and loving son-in-law Frank (Mulvey); and her three grandchildren, Frankie, Mia, and Madison (Mulvey) of Westhampton. She was predeceased by her son Jerald Jr. and daughter-in-law Tammy (Kitson).
Services were private. Family and friends were encouraged to light a candle or make a donation in her name to East End Hospice.
