Lee Zeldin is missing in action.
Recently, I received a flashy flier from Lee Zeldin touting his accomplishments for the East End. Clearly, it is a piece intended to bolster his reelection in November.
Remarkably, it clearly states: “This mailing was prepared, published and mailed at taxpayer expense.”
I can tell you that I don’t want my taxes used to pay for Lee Zeldin’s campaigning. It should be illegal for him to do this.
Further, I twice called his offices inquiring about what he was doing for East End taxpayers who utilized Suffolk County’s septic grant program. I have not gotten any reply from him or anyone in his offices.
It’s outrageous that he is using our taxpayer money to fund his reelection mailers, and at the same time he doesn’t respond to legitimate requests for his assistance.
The man is missing in action.
I will not be voting for him in November, and I urge you to vote for somebody else as well.

Folks: it is time to take Michael Daly at his word(s), unpleasant as that may be. First: glide by his smarmy greeting card calls for “love.” His own words reveal him, above all, and consistently, a purveyor of hate and...

I thank Barbara Ring for aptly proving my point. In response to my letter [“An Alliance,” Letters, April 11], which decried the state of civic public discourse in Hampton Bays as being overtaken by misinformation, fear-mongering and conspiracy peddling, Ring...
