A Little Cleaner

Once again, members of the Noyac Civic Council stepped up to clean our hamlet as part of the Great East End Clean-Up. Janet Grossman, Chuck Neuman, Elfie Winkle, and Maryanne and John Arendt and their granddaughter picked up litter around Trout Pond, Circle Beach, and along Millstone Road and Middle Line Highway last Saturday.

This is not a glorious job, but these individuals take pride in Noyac and participate every year.

Coors Light was the most popular discarded bottle this year. Last year, I believe it was Corona, but not sure if it had any connection to the forthcoming virus.

None of the volunteers found a winning Lotto ticket — but we hope their luck changes next time.

Noyac looks a bit cleaner because some of our NCC members care. Thank you to all who participated in the Great East End Clean-Up.
