On Monday, the League of Women Voters held a debate between our congressmen, Lee Zeldin, and the Democratic candidate, newcomer Dr. Nancy Goroff, who is a professor at Stony Brook University.
Mr. Zeldin mentioned that Suffolk County has a problem with dead relatives requesting absentee ballots. Since when do we have a countywide problem with dead relatives requesting absentee ballots?
Also, on Saturday, our congressman was riding in the midst of a Trump rally caravan through Setauket with his enormous campaign RV. When you call his office, the aides are rude, disrespectful and evasive.
Is this the type of representation we want for our community? A lying, self-serving, incompetent, unavailable person with no ethical boundaries? Zeldin is not serving his constituents, his county or his state. He is a shameful, disgraced and incompetent sycophant.
Time to vote him out!

On Long Island in the 1950s, our large family had one car and went to Jones Beach every summer. My father, aunt and three uncles served in the war, and families with lost sons lived among us. We knew the...
When I was younger, I always wondered how the family got interested in being here. My father, just a few years ago, when I was visiting down South, began explaining some of the tale. It was because of the “Fisherman’s...
