Dangerous Advice

Many medical school students must take the Hippocratic Oath: “First, Do No Harm.”

Donald Trump is not a medical doctor, and he is not fit to give any medical advice (“drink bleach”?). Yet, he is the president of the United States until January 20, 2021. He appears to be hell-bent on causing as much harm as possible during his remaining time in office.

His own administration is imploring all Americans to refrain from gathering as COVID-19 spikes nationwide. In that regard, Joe Biden made several poignant pleas for Americans to forgo this year’s traditional Thanksgiving gatherings of large groups in order to save lives.

Incredibly, Donald Trump urged people to gather on Thanksgiving in direct contradiction to his own hand-picked officials.

Trump has touted his life-saving treatment for people who get sick from COVID-19. Unfortunately, the treatment that he got when he contracted COVID-19 is not readily available to most American citizens — they are dying in record numbers all across our country.

The harm that Trump has caused and continues to cause is craven and shameless, as are his Republican enablers. In contrast, Joe Biden delivered a clear, poignant Thanksgiving message that all fair-minded people should hear and embrace.

Donald Trump is not a medical doctor. Rather, he is an evil witch doctor brewing a toxic elixir for Americans, encouraging them to flaunt his own administration’s guidelines and instead to gather and spread the deadly virus.

Lee Zeldin, please ask your good buddy Donald Trump to stop giving the American people bad medical/COVID-19 advice. He’s killing us.
