Wondrous Space

I didn’t know how much I really missed the library until those sliding doors recently opened and I entered that wondrous space once more.

The library is a place of calm. It holds wisdom for the asking and dedicated staff who make you feel right at home. Old books, new books can be requested, and the library notifies you when they are available.

Downstairs, I was aided in establishing the Libby app on my phone, another world of books for a Kindle reader or other electronic device accessible by request, at no charge, with your library card. My weary spirit was recharged. I had reconnected to a place I hold dear, and taking out Paul Theroux’s book “The Great Railway Bazaar” allowed me to take a trip without leaving town.
