A Quogue Village traditional custom built in 2020 has sold for $5.5 million.

On an acre-plus at 7 Quogo Neck Lane, the residence has a double-height foyer with a view out to the pool and grounds, and an open floor plan. There are five en suite bedrooms and 5.5 baths in total.

The large sun-drenched great room has a wood-burning fireplace and is surrounded by glass doors and windows. Attached to the great room is a family room that opens to a bluestone porch with a gas fireplace. An additional 600-square-foot covered porch is screened in.

The chef’s kitchen has a quartz-countered island and top-of-the-line Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. A nearby formal dining room includes custom cabinetry and a serving buffet. Also found on the first floor are a junior primary suite, a powder room, a mud room/laundry and an oversized two-car garage.

The primary suite is upstairs with oversized windows, two walk-in closets, and a marble bath with a soaking tub, a separate shower, a water closet and double vanity. The upstairs also includes three more bedrooms with marble baths en suite — and all bedrooms have 11-foot ceilings.

The grounds offer a 20-foot-by-40-foot heated saltwater gunite pool surrounded by a bluestone patio, and a shuffleboard court. The pool house has a full bathroom, a changing room, a sitting area and loft space. An outdoor kitchen is well-equipped for resort-style indoor/outdoor entertaining, according to the listing. There is also has an outdoor shower.

Lauren Battista of Brown Harris Stevens had the listing. Jason Schommer of Corcoran brought the buyers.

“The home was custom-built in 2020 and extremely well thought out with a great layout and high-end finishes,” Battista said. “Heated and cooled with geothermal and solar make it very efficient and cost-effective to maintain. One of the nice surprises is a 600-plus-square-foot screened porch looking out on the gunite pool and pool house. The buyers loved it because they could see themselves hosting dinners or just making it the perfect spot for summer gatherings. The location was ideal because you have the convenience of the Quogue Club, the Jitney stop, and Beth’s Café at one end of the street and Quantuck Bay with the Quogue dock at the other end.”

The deal closed on October 16, 2023, according to Suffolk Vision Inc., which reports the property transfered from one limited liability company to another.
