Boots on the Ground Theater presents “A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play” this weekend at Southampton Cultural Center. Directed by James Pritchard, the cast includes Kevin Magee as Ebenezer Scrooge along with Andrea Harum Schiavoni, Colin Palmer, Geoffrey Milton, Mbachi Kumwenda, Robert Nelson, Gerri Wilson and Bonnie Grice.

The cast is excited to bring Charles Dickens to life for the holidays. The story is adapted by Joe Landry and set in a 1940s radio studio where actors gather for a live radio version of the tale of Scrooge, complete with old time microphones, commercial jingles and live sound effects. Special guests The Dickens Carolers will set the mood for this Victorian Christmas classic.

Shows are Friday through Sunday, December 13 to 15. Tickets are $35 ($25 students) at scc-arts.org. Southampotn Cultural Center is at 25 Pond Lane in Southampton.
