Bedside Reading celebrates the July 4th weekend on the East End with a fun lineup of beach reads. This weekend, guests at select hotels and inns on the East end will find a tote bag filled with a variety of complimentary books by their bedsides, including fiction and nonfiction titles, romance, thrillers, memoirs and more. More books are also available for downloading through a QR code.

“Bedside Reading has worked hard to curate a selection that celebrates independent authors in the Hamptons this July 4th and around the world. With titles from genres such as romance, mystery, thriller, drama, and more,” said Jane Ubell-Meyer, founder of Bedside Reading. “Travelers are sure to find something to entertain them during their stay. The selections represent a wide variety of lifestyles and interests aimed at providing content for all types of readers.”

“The thrill of discovering and sharing them with Hamptons visitors for the past 22 years has never grown old and we are excited again to share our collection for everyone’s beach bag or electronic device!”

Books in the July 4th weekend tote bags will contain: “The Blue Butterfly” by Leslie Johansen Nack (historical fiction); “Paradox of Debt” by Richard Vague (business/finance); “Where the Shadows Dance” by Dana Killion (memoir); “French Holiday” by Sarah Ready (fiction); “The Lost Umbrellas of Lexington” by Meredith Newman (children’s); “A Delightful Little Book On Aging” by Stephanie Raffelock (motivational); “A Cup of Redemption” by Carole Bumpus (women’s fiction); “White House by the Sea” by Kate Storey (biography); “Lost in the Reflecting Pool” by Diane Pomerantz (memoir).

Bedside Reading’s complimentary books can be found at the following hotels and inns: Mill House Inn, The Maidstone, Southampton Inn, 1708 House, MARRAM Montauk, Journey East Hampton and Baker House 1650. Additional weekends include August 11 and October 6.
