Camp Shakespeare returns for its 23rd summer and will run August 8 to 12 and 15 to 19 (one and two-week sessions) at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Amagansett.

Presented since 1999 by the Hamptons Shakespeare Festival, Camp Shakespeare is a fun and creative program for kids and teens, ages 8 to 15. Activities involve acting, theater games, improvisation, movement, voice and theatrical arts and crafts led by trained theater educators in an atmosphere of discovery and cooperation. Each weeklong session culminates in a performance for family and friends.

Hamptons Shakespeare Festival, a nonprofit organization, has provided cultural and educational programs on the East End since 1996. Tuition is $425 to $500 per week, and financial aid is available. Preregistration is required at 631-267-0105, hamptons-shakespeare.org/camp, or education@hamptons-shakespeare.org.
