LTV Studio’s and the East End Underground Live Concert Series will host Kerry Kearney and Jack Licitra, in an “Evening of Blues From Delta to New Orleans” on Thursday, August 29, at 8 p.m.

Kearney and Licitra take listeners on a journey through the blues. Kearney’s virtuoso guitar playing explores Chicago-style electric, Delta slide and Piedmont acoustic fingerstyle blues. Licitra summons Dr. John with his rolling piano riffs and smoky voice. Their collaboration has been going for over 20 years from their tours opening for The Allman Brothers and Dickey Betts Band to selling out many Long Island Venues. Kearney, inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame, has toured the world as guitarist for Marty Balin of Jefferson Airplane, while Licitra was part of the acclaimed Water Street Blues Band. They will be backed by veteran rhythm section Jerry Sorrentino and Mario Staiano, formerly of Savoy Brown.

Tickets are $30 in advance ($35 at the door) and VIP Café Seating is available for $65 at ltveh.org. LTV Studios is at 75 Industrial Road in Wainscott.
