Lotus Land Brings the Music of Rush to The Suffolk Stage

Famed Canadian rock band Rush is most renowned for its stellar musicianship, thought-provoking lyrics, and dynamic stage performances. On Saturday, June 14, at 8 p.m., The Suffolk welcomes back “Lotus Land: The American Rush Tribute.”

Rush’s music consisted of an innovative blend of hard rock, progressive rock and synthesizers that make for complex musical arrangements. Formed in 1968 with Geddy Lee (bass and vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar) and Neil Peart (drums and percussion), the band had a career spanning four decades that included numerous critically acclaimed albums that solidified their status as one of the most influential and enduring bands in music history.

With an unparalleled performance, “Lotus Land: The American Rush Tribute” brings the force of live Rush to life on stage. Enjoyed by die-hard fans, musicians and casual music listeners alike, the Lotus Land experience has been heralded as the ultimate celebration of Rush’s musical craftsmanship and spirited performances.
