Jeffrey Sussman, author of the best-selling book, “Big Apple Gangsters: The Rise and Decline of the Mob in New York,” will speak about the book and sign copies at the East Hampton Library on Saturday, August 20, at 2 p.m. Sussman said that due to the success of the hardback edition of the book, the publisher has just issued a paperback edition.
Sussman is the author of 16 books of non-fiction, in addition to “Big Apple Gangsters,” the most recent include “Holocaust Fighters: Boxers, Resisters, and Avengers” and “Boxing and the Mob: The Notorious History of the Sweet Science.”
