The Hampton Theatre Company will stage “Other People’s Money” by Jerry Sterner, opening on Thursday, January 10, at 7 p.m.

The comedy, which is about Wall Street buccaneers and their hapless victims, will stage at the Quogue Community Hall on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through January 27.

The cautionary, and entertaining, tale tells the story of Wall Street shark Lawrence Garfinkle, aka “Larry the Liquidator,” played in Quogue by Edward Kassar. His unwitting victim, the gentlemanly chairman of New England Wire and Cable, Andrew Jorgenson, is played by Terrance Fiore.

The play also stars Adrianne Hick as Kate Sullivan, Joe Pallister as the play’s narrator and New England Wire and Cable’s president and Diana Marbury as Bea Sullivan.

Showtimes are Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are available at hamptontheatre.org, or by calling OvationTix at (866) 811-4111. Special dinner packages will be offered in conjunction with Jonesey’s Restaurant in Westhampton Beach. For more information, call 653-8955 or visit hamptontheatre.org.
