The Parrish Art Museum’s Lichtenstein Theater will emulate a nightclub on Friday, March 10, when the museum in Water Mill welcomes jazz pianist Hector Martignon’s Foreign Affair Quartet.

The New York-based Mr. Martignon is a Colombian-born composer, producer and recording artist with five solo albums, two of which earned him Grammy nominations. His upcoming album is “Cita a Ciegas,” or “Blind Date,” based on a play about the last days of the Argentine author Jorge Luis Borges. The Foreign Affair Quartet also includes Christos Rafalides on vibes, Oscar Stagnaro on bass and Samuel Torres on percussion.

The musicians have played at the Parrish before, on the terrace, for the summer Jazz en Plein Air series. This indoor, candle-lit winter show is designed after cabarets.

“Hector Martignon is one of the most admired musicians worldwide,” Corinne Erni, the Parrish curator of special projects, said. “He has the unique gift for successfully melding the most diverse music styles and idioms—from traditional Latin American and European classical music to Afro-Cuban jazz—to create his own musical universe.”

The Parrish will offer drinks, food and table service during the performance. The show starts at 6 p.m. Friday and the cost is $25, or $10 for Parrish members, inclusive of museum admission. Advance reservations are encouraged. Visit parrishart.org.
