On Saturday, August 10, from 4 to 7 p.m., LIK Fine Art Hamptons in East Hampton will be unveiling the newest piece by renowned Australian-born landscape photographer Peter Lik. The piece, titled “A Morning in France,” will be displayed at the recently-opened gallery alongside 45 of Mr. Lik’s other masterworks including New York City-inspired images “Sunday 5:47,” “Vintage Road” and “The Sentinel.”“New York has given me so much beauty to capture and share,” said Mr. Lik. “For years, the Hamptons have beckoned me — I am thrilled to finally set up shop at this seaside dreamscape and warmly welcome in a community that has always embraced me and my work.”

This has been a very busy 12 months for Mr. Lik, who has launched new galleries in Vail, Dallas, Washington D.C., and Chicago, and plans to open a third New York location on Madison Avenue this summer.

Mr. Lik began capturing the wonders of nature on film as a young boy in his native Australia and never stopped. In 1984, he migrated to the U.S. and discovered his passion for panoramic photography. One of Mr. Lik’s most notable projects, “Spirit of America,” is a 50-state landscape exploration of perilous deserts, ethereal mountain peaks, lush fields and glimmering cityscapes. Mr. Lik has received many prestigious accolades and merits over the years. His masterworks “Ghost” and “Inner Peace” have been included in an exhibition of Nature’s Best Photography at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C.

Guests may reserve for the East Hampton unveiling of “A Morning in France” by visiting lik.com/rsvp. For more details, contact the gallery at 631-600-3510.
