Amagansett School has a resolution for October 6, for termination by “misconduct.” Dawn Mata, who, to the best of our knowledge, is Superintendent Michael Rodgers’s personal secretary, is the person the resolution names.
Facts: Michael Rodgers had the time stamps to initiate the Maria Dorr 3020A hearing. A few days before the trial began, he was one of the individuals, as testified, combing the town with a school attorney to find individuals to testify.
We know from Washington, D.C., and a Miami district office that Rodgers has a charge filed against Amagansett School. The number: 520-2022-05790. Again, what is the genesis of that charge? Details are still emerging.
Ten parents, 10 teachers. How about that 2023 meeting? The testimony of now-former District Clerk Sandra Nuzzi. The BOCES surveys during the superintendent search. Experiences and events, past and present, not yet publicly told.
Please remind how the individual at the center of all these incidents, in any good conscience, can recommend someone be terminated for “misconduct” without anyone considering his own?
Another woman faces the chopping block.
Still here.
