Lifelong East Hampton resident David Allen King died on September 26 at Peconic Bay Skilled Nursing Facility in Riverhead. He was 68.
Born May 1, 1940, in Southampton to Antoinette (née Pelis) and Preston M. King, he graduated from East Hampton High School, class of 1958, and worked as a tree surgeon.
He is survived by three sisters, Marie Kiembock of East Hampton, Pauline Moban of Connecticut and Sharon Peters of Virginia; four brothers, Paul King and Brian King of East Hampton and Edwin King and Carl King of Riverhead.
Three sisters, Elizabeth Arnold, Carrie Meyer and Viola Buckley, and two brothers, Preston King and John King, all predeceased him.
A funeral service was held on October 2 at Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton. Interment followed at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery, also in East Hampton.
