Walker, 39, was arrested by East Hampton Town Police at East Hampton Village Police headquarters in the early morning on April 13 on a felony charge of criminal weapon possession in the third degree. Walker had come to the Village Police headquarters a little before midnight on April 12, apparently to register a complaint about an incident that had occurred in Springs previously. MONTAUK — A customer at a downtown gas station in downtown Montauk paid $12 cash for gas but then pumped less than $5 worth before driving off the evening of April 5. The driver later returned and became irate demanding his change for the transaction be returned, before going back to the pump and pumping out the rest of the gas he paid for. Police were called to calm things down. It became clear after interviewing several employees at the gas station that this was not the first such incident involving this customer. EAST HAMPTON VILLAGE — East Hampton Village Police arrested German Fernando Centurion, 40, a little before 1 a.m. on Sunday on a felony charge of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, namely cocaine. Police allege that Centurion had in his possession over a half gram of cocaine, which police said was contained in a glass vile found in the console during a search of the 2019 Cadillac Escalade Centurion was said to be driving. EAST HAMPTON VILLAGE — A traffic stop for a license plate violation by an East Hampton Village Police officer on Dunemere Lane just north of Further Lane on Monday morning led to the driver being arrested on multiple charges, including two felony counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree. SPRINGS — A heated exchange at a Bell Road residence ultimately led to the arrest of Stephanie Uribe, 37, of Springs on Friday at around midnight. East Hampton Town Police charged Uribe with criminal mischief in the fourth degree, because, they said, she prevented the alleged victim from dialing 911 by grabbing the woman’s phone as she tried to call.
