EAST HAMPTON VILLAGE — A Springs man, Darnell J. Walker, 39, was arrested by East Hampton Town Police at East Hampton Village Police headquarters in the early morning on April 13 on a felony charge of criminal weapon possession in the third degree. Walker had come to the Village Police headquarters a little before midnight on April 12, apparently to register a complaint about an incident that had occurred in Springs previously. MONTAUK — A customer at a downtown gas station in downtown Montauk paid $12 cash for gas but then pumped less than $5 worth before driving off the evening of April 5. The driver later returned and became irate demanding his change for the transaction be returned, before going back to the pump and pumping out the rest of the gas he paid for. Police were called to calm things down. It became clear after interviewing several employees at the gas station that this was not the first such incident involving this customer. EAST HAMPTON VILLAGE — East Hampton Village Police arrested German Fernando Centurion, 40, a little before 1 a.m. on Sunday on a felony charge of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, namely cocaine. Police allege that Centurion had in his possession over a half gram of cocaine, which police said was contained in a glass vile found in the console during a search of the 2019 Cadillac Escalade Centurion was said to be driving. MONTAUK — As Montauk’s St. Patrick’s Day parade was breaking up Sunday afternoon, two men were charged by East Hampton Town Police with disorderly conduct, a violation, when they got into a fist fight that ended with them both rolling on the ground at Carl Fisher Plaza, exchanging punches to the face. One of them was a 27-year-old from Northport, and the other was a 22-year-old from Mastic Beach.
