EAST HAMPTON — East Hampton Town Police arrested Patrick S. Gallagher, 48, of East Hampton early Sunday morning and charged him with misdemeanor aggravated DWI. The arrest likely will impact a current criminal case already making its way through East Hampton Town Justice court. Gallagher was arrested on the same raised aggravated misdemeanor DWI charge back in February, by the East Hampton Village Police Department. An aggravated DWI charge is brought when the station house breath test produces a reading of .18 or higher, which is over twice the .08 mark that defines intoxication in the state of New York. ...

SPRINGS — East Hampton Town Police arrested Byron Andres Peralta Suarez, 27, of Springs early Saturday morning and charged him with DWI and obstructing governmental administration, both misdemeanors. Police said Peralta Suarez was driving erratically on Springs Fireplace Road, repeatedly swerving across the double yellow line leading to a traffic stop. He appeared intoxicated, the police said; the arresting officer asked Peralta Suarez to perform roadside sobriety tests, which he failed. SPRINGS — An altercation Saturday around midnight outside a pizza parlor on Springs Fireplace Road ended with the arrest by East Hampton Town Police of a Northwest Woods man, Daniel Colin Garduno, 27, on a felony charge of assault in the second- degree. The charging document states that Colin Garduno used a weapon with intent to cause physical injury, that weapon being a flowerpot. Police said that Colin Garduno, during a heated dispute with another man, picked the flowerpot up and hurled it at him, smashing it into his face, causing serious injury. SPRINGS — East Hampton Town Police arrested Juan Carlos Guaman Rigra, 37, of Southampton on misdemeanor charges of DWI early Saturday morning. Guaman Rigra was driving a work vehicle, a 2020 Ford pickup truck owned by the company he works for, and moving at an exceedingly slow rate of speed, while also swerving across lane lines, leading to a traffic stop, the arresting officer reported. Guaman Rigra appeared intoxicated and failed roadside sobriety tests, police said. EAST HAMPTON — An out-of-control party on Squires Path involving hundreds of teens drinking alcohol led to the arrest of the adult residents, Karl Gerhard Hagn, 51, and Susan Villa Hagn, 55, on August 23, according to police. Police said that when they arrived a little after 10 p.m., there were up to 300 teens wandering through the house and property, many drinking alcoholic beverages. Hagn and Villa Hagn were each charged with two misdemeanors, endangering the welfare of a child, and allowing the consumption of alcohol by underage drinkers at a private residence. EAST HAMPTON TOWN & VILLAGE — A wild, prolonged pursuit on crowded local Labor Day weekend roadways conducted by both East Hampton Town and Village police officers resulted, ultimately, in the arrest Friday night of Todd P. Tuttle, 53, of East Moriches on numerous charges, including two counts of reckless driving, a misdemeanor, one brought by the Town Police, the other by the village department, as well as a charge made by Town Police of fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle.
