SPRINGS — East Hampton Town Police arrested Byron Andres Peralta Suarez, 27, of Springs early Saturday morning and charged him with DWI and obstructing governmental administration, both misdemeanors. Police said Peralta Suarez was driving erratically on Springs Fireplace Road, repeatedly swerving across the double yellow line leading to a traffic stop. He appeared intoxicated, the police said; the arresting officer asked Peralta Suarez to perform roadside sobriety tests, which he failed. SPRINGS — An altercation Saturday around midnight outside a pizza parlor on Springs Fireplace Road ended with the arrest by East Hampton Town Police of a Northwest Woods man, Daniel Colin Garduno, 27, on a felony charge of assault in the second- degree. The charging document states that Colin Garduno used a weapon with intent to cause physical injury, that weapon being a flowerpot. Police said that Colin Garduno, during a heated dispute with another man, picked the flowerpot up and hurled it at him, smashing it into his face, causing serious injury. SPRINGS — East Hampton Town Police arrested Juan Carlos Guaman Rigra, 37, of Southampton on misdemeanor charges of DWI early Saturday morning. Guaman Rigra was driving a work vehicle, a 2020 Ford pickup truck owned by the company he works for, and moving at an exceedingly slow rate of speed, while also swerving across lane lines, leading to a traffic stop, the arresting officer reported. Guaman Rigra appeared intoxicated and failed roadside sobriety tests, police said. EAST HAMPTON — An out-of-control party on Squires Path involving hundreds of teens drinking alcohol led to the arrest of the adult residents, Karl Gerhard Hagn, 51, and Susan Villa Hagn, 55, on August 23, according to police. Police said that when they arrived a little after 10 p.m., there were up to 300 teens wandering through the house and property, many drinking alcoholic beverages.
