Georganne ‘Georgie’ Gilbride
Georganne “Georgie” Gilbride of Sag Harbor died at the Westhampton Care Center on Thursday, September 1. She was 60.
Born September 20, 1950, at Southampton Hospital to George and Phyllis Page (née Warner), Ms. Gilbride attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart of Mary in Sag Harbor.
Ms. Gilbride was a member of the Sag Harbor Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for 35 years and a school bus driver for more than 25 years. Children she drove years ago attended the memorial service as adults.
She is survived by her husband, Sag Harbor Mayor Brian Gilbride; children, Kevin and Kerri Gilbride of Sag Harbor; siblings, Dorothy “Tootsie” Early and Barry “Joe” Page of Sag Harbor; three grandchildren, Tyler, Kasey and Gavin Gilbride; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Dennis Page and Christopher “Buzz” Page.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 4, at Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor. A memorial service followed on Monday, September 5, at the funeral home. Interment followed at Oakland Cemetery in Sag Harbor.
