Gloria Jean Boerem of Montauk died on June 26 at her home. She was 91.
Born December 26, 1917, in Whitestone to Elsie Lilian Lynch and John Francis Weiss, she was in the first graduating class at Bayside High School.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel H. Boerem of Montauk; a son, Daniel R. Boerem of Montauk; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and six nieces and nephews. A sister, Lilian Golden predeceased her.
Services were private. In lieu of flowers, donations to East End Hospice, P.O. Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978 would be appreciated by the family.
