Joseph J. Kristopowitz of Wainscott died on November 11 at Southampton Hospital. He was 97.
Born in Southold to Mary (née Cituk) and Paul Kristopowitz, he worked primarily as an estate manager on the East End.
He is survived by two daughters, Susan Kristopowitz of Wainscott and Emily Smeraldo of Florida; a son, Joseph Kristopowitz of Liverpool; a sister, Bertha Trinowski of Riverhead; three grandchildren; and one-great-grandchild.
His wife, Wanda Kristopowitz, predeceased him.
Visitation was on November 13 at the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral mass was held on November 14 at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church in Bridgehampton. Interment followed at Wainscott Cemetery.
